Choose a time or publish now in Monthly. Follow the upload and processing status, then open the completed delivery link when it is available.

View raw per-video views, likes and comments, plus available watch-time and other YouTube Analytics reports. YouTube metrics stay separate from combined engagement totals, rankings and best-posting-time recommendations.

Available metrics depend on the network, account and permissions. A scheduled post is not a published post; follow its delivery status in Monthly.

Connect your account.

Choose your channel
Open Settings → Integrations → YouTube and sign in to Google. Select the channel you want Monthly to use. Google verification is in progress.

Review your upload settings
Upload an MP4 or MOV in Monthly’s video composer. Enter the title and description, choose visibility and audience, and decide whether to notify subscribers.

Follow processing and performance
Publish now or schedule the video. Monthly tracks processing before completion and displays available per-video counters and YouTube Analytics reports separately from combined engagement metrics.

Troubleshooting

A clear next step when something stops.

The agent cannot connect: Use https://app.monthly.so/mcp exactly, including /mcp. Choose OAuth and automatic registration (DCR), then check your agent’s account or workspace restrictions. A client that only offers published identity documents needs a compatibility check; never switch off authentication to get past an error. A custom connection is separate from a public directory listing.
An account is missing: Connect and enable it in Monthly first. Each connection sees only the accounts selected during consent. Reconnect the agent to add another account.
Scheduling returns 409: Open the review URL and approve the current revision. Changing text, images, destinations or time invalidates the prior approval.
The network needs reconnecting: Open Settings → Integrations and reconnect the named account. For X images, the grant must include media.write.
You are changing agents: Revoke the old connection in Settings → AI agents & API. Existing queued posts remain scheduled; cancel them separately if needed.
